This is my first foray into the world of Minimates and I am pleasently surpised.

When I first heard about these I thought they would be just some dinky little plastic statue, but boy was I wrong.  ArtAsylum really put some work into these figures.  The detail on these figures is superb.

Magneto is my favorite and is dressed in his classic comic book uniform.  The only thing I didn’t like about Magneto is the fact that he didn’t come with hair for when he doesn’t have his helmet on.

Juggernaut is another figure dressed in classic uniform and looks great.  His facial expression is spot on and the helmet is awesome.  I couldn’t get the head out of his hemelt to put his hair on.  Magneto’s head stuck a little in his helmet too.

Clyclops was my least favorite figure because of sloppy paint apps and I hate the big yellow X jacket.  I do like the fact that ArtAsylum put X’s on his gloves and shoulders, it was a nice touch.

Wolverine really rocks!  His facial expression is perfect and looks like he is ready to slice and dice anyone in his way.  I have to give credit to ArtAsylum again for the great details like Wolvie’s dog tags.  I appreciate a company taking the time on details like that when it is so easy just to exclude them.

In this four pack you also get a DVD, “X-Men Darktide”.  The DVD is nine and a half minutes long and it’s really fun.  If you have kids that are X-Men fans they will really love it.  It’s computer generated X-Men Minimates and it was produced by film school students.  They did a fantastic job and the film really looked great.  I would highly suggest you pick up this four pack at Target or Toys R Us.
