I was browsing my local neighborhood comic store (ok, not so local and its very far away but I can always pretend right?) and I came across this really funny cover with the title “Star Wars: The Return of Tag and Bink”. Being a Space Balls fan, I immediately picked this comic up and headed to the register and there I am still holding my sides from laughing so much.

The premise of this comic is simple. Everything bad that happens in Star Wars, is because of these two Stormtrooper rejects, Tag and Bink.

For all the die-hard fans out there that can’t stand a joke, this hilarious comic is definitely not for you. If you are constantly telling people that Jango wasn’t the birth-father of Boba (aka Boo-Boo), fast forward Ep. VI when Boba is flirting with the dancer, and wear T-Shirts that say “Han shot first!”, then this book isn’t for you. If you liked Spaceballs and are repeatedly saying, “It’s not the size of the Schwartz that matters, It’s how you use it.” and consider Barfolemew your personal hero then I would immediately go and pick this issue up.

The art in this comic is just a little over standard fair and it suffices for the story-telling. The real gold is in the story itself.

The premise of this comic is simple. Everything bad that happens in Star Wars, is because of these two Stormtrooper rejects, Tag and Bink. Suffice it to say that you will laugh at these two bumbling wannabe’s throughout the whole comic.

Good luck finding this issue because it sold out so fast at the store that the person who works behind the counter doesn’t even have a copy. I give this comic a rare 5 out of 5 because of the timeless nature of its jokes and because Tag and Bink are holding a blaster to my head as I write this.
