This is the second “1 Year Later” book I have read and this one is a lot better than the Aquaman. It looks like DC may be trying to turn the corner away from all the darkness that has permeated their comics the last couple of years. I am hopeful we can get back to our hero’s being hero’s. The cover on this book is spectacular and the interior art is okay. Pick this book up on 3/8/06

I thought this comic was an exellent launching point for the new Batman: OYL stories. It didn’t really try to bite off more than it could chew in a single comic, and it was just a great intro to the way the city feels after having its dark protector missing for a whole year. I also liked the set up for the rest of the series and can’t wait for Batman 651 where the saga will continue, and we may learn what has happened to Ivy. Perhaps similar things have happened to the rest of Batman’s Rogue’s Gallery?
