From the first time I picked up an “Athena Voltaire” comic I was in love! Ape Entertainment has a real winner on their hands and I hope they push this title to greater heights. In stores this month is the Collected Webcomics of Athena Voltaire. Originally published in 2002 on the web “The Terror in Tibet” and “The Wrath from the Tomb” are now collected in a trade paperback. Steve Bryant has the perfect art style for this compelling character and Chad Fidler makes everything pop with great colors. The story has Yeti, Werewolves and Vampires oh my! If you like Indiana Jones with more action, more occult mystery and more evil Nazis than you can shake a stick at then this is the book for you. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was the strange way the layout. The book was printed every page like a centerfold, maybe this is High Definition Widescreen comics. Maybe the taking it from it’s original web format dictated this printing style.

Sounds like a cool comic and I am liking the trade paperback medium more and more.
I finally got my copy and it is very nice. Like you said, the layout is a little off putting at times but it is still very enjoyable.
