Email Review print reviewEvery time I pick up an Ape Entertainment title I am increadibly impressed. My very first foray into the Ape world was their fantastic “The Black Coat" title and you guys know how much I loved it. Athena Voltaire does not dissapoint! Athena Voltaire is a period comic set in the 30’s with all the pulpy goodness and action you would expect of an Indiana Jones movie. This book has an unbelievable amount of potenial and I would love to see an Athena Voltaire movie one day. The art, from Steve Bryant’s pencils to Chad Fidler’s, colors is imaculate! This book (all 48 pages) is more put together and better crafted than a lot of the stuff I have seen from Marvel and DC lately. If you dig a super hot Axiatrix finding treasure, slapping Nazi’s silly and saving the day, then this book should be on your pull list!
