Wow. That’s all I have to say. I am stunned and wordless. If you buy one comic this year, Rebellion needs to be the one. I now know why the last series in Empire was so important.

Boba Fett: Overkill

Boba Fett is a favorite of mine. I don’t know why. He doesn’t have very many speaking lines in the movies. Maybe it’s his cool costume and the mystique that it invokes. Maybe it’s what little attitude he exudes. ("No Disintegrations.") Whatever it is, I am always a sucker when any material comes out about this mysterious bounty hunter.

The Tick: Days of Drama #5

I have many fond memories of “The Tick” so when I saw this comic on the rack, I had to pick it up. I loved watching this cartoon. It was a “different” kind of humor. Although expensive ($3.95), it had all the classic humor to send one snorting.

Remember all that belly-aching about lack of backstory for KOTOR? Seems Dark Horse is trying to remedy that with the release of a combo issue of KOTOR #0 and a preview of Rebellion.

Star Wars: The Return of Tag and Bink

I was browsing my local neighborhood comic store (ok, not so local and its very far away but I can always pretend right?) and I came across this really funny cover with the title “Star Wars: The Return of Tag and Bink”. Being a Space Balls fan, I immediately picked this comic up and headed to the register and there I am still holding my sides from laughing so much.

KOTOR #3

Phenomenal Art. Good story. Crappy Cover-Art. Same old whiney Zayne. I guess nothing has changed yet, except for a couple more party members. Read on for more details.

The Book of Lost Souls #6

I really liked the writing in this book.  It’s got some really good stuff that makes you think about good and evil.  The are is adequate and I think I will see how the next few issues pan out.  Pick this one up and give it a try.

X-Men Unlimited #14

"Nothing to see here.  Move along.” That kept running through my mind as I read this comic.  More of Colosus’s tortured soul stuff.  Will someone write this character the he should be.  After all the pain and heartbreak you would think someone would right him with some rage and anger.  How cool would it be to see Colosus cut loose and bust some stuff up.  Pass on this.

X-Men Apocalypse vs. Dracula #3

Three issues into this 4 issue mini and I have really lost interest.  Apocalypse has no depth or character development, just more of the same old same old.  How many times can he say, “He wasn’t fit”, I mean come on.  Hopefully in #4 we will at least see Dracula kick his butt.  Pass on this one.

Young Avengers #11

This is the first time I have read Young Avengers and I am now a fan.  The art is very good and I really love the story.  Marvel is bringing back the “Cosmic Universe” with a bang as both the Skrull and Kree are a big part of this issue.  Strong buy on this one.

Marvel Zombies #5

I have to say this 5 issue mini was a lot of fun.  It didn’t have great purpose but it was cool to see our favorite hero’s battling it out for a piece of flesh.  It was funny too.  If you love Zombies, mayhem and hero’s shown in a different light then this series is for you.

Silver Surfer Annihilation #1

I am so excited about the Annihilation story arc.  It has been a long time since Marvel did anything with their “Cosmic Universe”.  The are is very good, gritty and portrays the Surfer in the ways of old.  I think that no one will ever do the Surfer the way Ron Lim did, but you have to take what you can get.  If you love big cosmic stories and battles this is a title for you.
