X-Men #177

Email Review print reviewThe X-Men are under house arrest! The sentinels have come to look after everyone’s safety and the X-Men are none to happy. Page three and four has an amazing two page layout of the entire team ready for battle. This Larroca cat has some awesome pencils! Wolverine being Wolverine leads a charge on the sentinels against Cyke’s orders and the mayhem begins. We find out that Polaris has no powers and Iceman is no longer cool, no powers for him either. Emma detects thoughts coming from the sentinels and the whole thing ends with Val Cooper showing up with some armored O*N*E* soldiers. Good writing, great art.
X-Men Deadly Genesis #1

Email Review print reviewWhile the X-Men are dealing with the aftermath of “House of M”, members of the group start having strange visions. Kitty sees Colossus as a corpse and Kurt has visions of a mob from his younger days in Germany. Emma detects an Omega Plus level mutant that they think may be Prof X. I think this book is very promising and hopefully by the time issue six rolls around we have seen some drastic changes to our favorite mutants. The interior art is okay but the cover by Marc Silvestri is fantastic. I would buy the book just for the cover!
Punisher vs. Bullseye #1
by: curvezilla 2 years, 10 months, 1 week, 4 days, 4 minutes ago 0
Email Review print reviewThis book really starts off slow. The whole book is back story of a mob family and their first encounter with The Punisher. Bullseye shows up on the last page of the comic and there are only three panels featuring The Punisher in a flashback. I am going to give this book the benefit of the doubt since it is the first of five. So I will keep the jury out knowing that with Bullseye and Punisher involved there will be lots of guns and blood.
