Turtle power reigns at the box office!

Box Office Mojo reports that Warner Bros’ TMNT was able to dethrone 300 (also from WB) to take the #1 spot by raking in an estimated $24,450,000 over the weekend.
It hasn’t been made official yet, but there’s no doubt that Warner Bros. will make an announcement about developing a follow-up to TMNT.

Really? A sequel? Already? You would think they might want to see how much it drops off the 2nd week out. 25 million isn’t exactly a blockbuster and it says the budget was 34 million.
