Comments

I am guessing a lot of folks find this show interesting but I watched POTC for the third time even if it was highly edited for TV. Award shows just seem like a group getting together to pat themselves on the back for doing their job. Even then it seems like too much about nothing. Maybe I am just a grouch but if they didn’t do the show anymore, it would be ok with me. Maybe the ratings will tell a different story.

Sunday’s awards show drew its fourth-smallest audience ever, according to preliminary figures from Nielsen Media Research

Even so, there was good news for NBC: It soundly won the night in viewers, even against strong competition: ABC’s broadcast of “Pirates of the Caribbean” aired from 7 to 10 p.m. EDT, in a partial clash with the 8 to 11 p.m. airing of the Emmys.
