The Ultimate Galactic Hunt is a completist nightmare in that it forces you to either buy tons of their merchandise to get special “collector” versions of their figurines or search through lots of stores finding them. I guess it’s all in the hunt though and good luck to those that are searching.
Here is a quote from StarWars.com.
The Star Wars UGH 2006 is a celebration in product spanning the nearly 30-year history of Star Wars action figures, including a very special tribute to the architect of the Star Wars universe himself.
On shelves starting around May 1st, look for three exciting product lines to feature the Star Wars UGH 2006 foil sticker.
There are three different variants for this scavenger hunt. You can mail off for George Lucas in Stormtrooper disguise when you purchase one of each of the following from the Kenner-style retro line Hasbro figurines:
You only need these five figure and they will be labeled with the special offer.
The second portion of the scavenger hunt will be tougher to complete. It appears that they are releasing ten silver foil chaser figurines. There will be two figurines per case of twelve so there will be many visits to different establishments for the die-hard collectors out there. Here is a list of the characters featured:
- Darth Vader
- Han Solo (with Carbonite)
- Boba Fett
- Snowtrooper
- AT-AT Driver
- Commander Cody
- Anakin Skywalker
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- General Grievous
- Scorch (from Star Wars: Republic Commando)
These figures will consist of a foil package, a special vac-metal silver foil display base, and a silver-painted version of the hologram figure. I could not find any pictures out there but will post them once they are out.
Lastly there are some vendor exclusives out there. The Clone Wars microseries-inspired Republic Gunship and the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack will be available exclusively at Toys R Us stores. Exclusively at Target stores, look for the Demise of General Grievous super-premium 3.75” figure and the Skirmish in the Senate battle pack.

You can either look for these in May or order a case of these new figures from the Star Wars Shop.
