A little gem for you Pirates of the Carribbean fans.  Prepare thy self to be underwhelmed!

Bamf here rematerializing from the void..

My first month in Los Angeles—I did everything possible to stay out of the world of Banking.  That did not last.  But for those first weeks I lived on Craigslist, applying for jobs in the film industry I had no qualifications for and quietly waiting for a reply.  In the rumor pot there stirred a sighting of where some pickups were being shot for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At Worlds End.  As I polish up my commentary on the film I watched opening night, enjoy this for the time being.  Here is how I came upon it on September 5th, 2006; The Black Pearl.

Rumor had it that there was a certain ship parked off the California coast.  I set off on a adventure to try and find it.  After an hour of going down savage roads and forgotten alleys I came upon her.  She was guarded by a beastly man whom I was sure came from the dingy depths of Davy Jones locker.  And the sign gave no remittance, but I a crafty landlubber perched my self high on top of the convertible and snapped a shot in an attempt to steal the soul of that famous ship..

Here she be attached, The Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean.  There is a nice fence in the way, but even from afar she was black as a coal miners lungs, and her flapping sails could only remind me that this ship had one destination, the sovereign fire lakes of hell.

That no trespassing sign wasn’t there when I jumped over that fence, outran the guard, knocked over the barriers and went on board before they caught me and threw me out. (just kidding)

Nice find!
