FIRST LOOK: Komikazee "Superman Returns" group shot!

I thought I’d take a quick second to post a sneak peak at the latest Komikazee group shot dedicated to Superman Returns. As I mentioned the last time I posted our initial group shot, the purpose of doing these was so I could easily change them around and make us different characters (Superman, Batman...etc). Well after doing the first character (naturally I did myself) I can say...easier said than done. Since I am still in “Superman mode” (when am I not?) I wanted to do our first character-driven group shot celebrating the release of Supe’s new movie (go read our awesome review, and check out the movie!).
Since I am the one doing these, and since I refuse to let anyone else steal my thunder, it was only natural that I make myself Superman/Clark Kent. Now while I’m still undecided as to which character the rest of the team will be, I went ahead and decided to begin with myself in an attempt to gauge how long it would take me (and because I was anxious to see how I looked as The Man of Steel). I started off by transforming my body shot into that of Superman. While it wasn’t a TON of work, it was still tedious having to change things like my hair, pants, and adding in that iconic “S” at just the right angle (which took me about 20min to do).
Now, I’m still not done with the entire group shot, I think it’s coming along nicely and will pave the way for some future groups that we can tackle. Right now we’ve only got 4 of us rendered in full-body glory, but we have been kicking around the idea of doing our newest contributors in the same fashion (which would bring us to 8 total). While I like this idea, because it gives me the chance to experiment with additional characters, I realize that it’s A LOT of work.
In the end, I’ll probably end up doing a fully body shot for everyone because I am a nerd, and I want to see us as comic characters. In the meantime, here is the sneak peak of Komikazee: Superman Returns!
Damn, I look GOOD as Superman! Molen you better pray to God I render Katy in full body mode, or guess who’s going to play Lois Lane to my Superman…

I think wynn would make a great Lois…
Honestly, I was thinking Wynn could make a better Jor-El. Don’t try to get out of it Molen, and don’t act like you haven’t always dreamed of being Lois to Superman...all that flying around probably makes you giddy.
Lufguy, it’s not that I’m patting myself on the back, it’s just that I have an eye for excellence...haha.
Well, I do kind of admire a man who can become a Legend in his own mind!
Oh, well then you should’ve been admiring me since day one my friend. If you think that’s bad, you haven’t seen anything yet…
Then I can only cherish my initial misconceptions.
And maybe one day you could immortalize me with your Art except I “got to be good looking because I am so hard to see.”
Well don’t think you’ll be TOO good looking because I wouldn’t want you to overshadow me (how’s that for egotistical??). The beauty about creating yourself thru artwork is you can look however you want and few people know the truth!

Leave it to Molen to bring in the feminine Star Wars quotes. It’s funny because as hard as I try to fight it, I can picture him all dressed up like Leia running around his house spitting out quotes like that.
Too true though. While I am not a towering 6’4” like everyone else, I do posses something you all don’t...the means to make myself into whoever I want so ha!
Once I am done with this group picture I will have only one question for YOU Molen....aren’t you a little too “girly” to be Lois Lane??
