AICN.com has posted an image that contains our first look at the Bumblebee Transformer from the upcoming Transformers: The Movie directed by Michael Bay.
The image is from the Hoover Dam shoot that took place a few weeks ago. This is NOT a full body shot, but in fact a partial look at how the Transformers will appear in the new film.
Transformers: The Movie opens July, 4th 2007.

God this movie is gonna suck.
WOW, you obviously posses the ability to predict the future based on a single image....that’s amazing. Was this something you were born with, or did you have to work at it??
I can’t wait to see Prime and Megatron.

I was hoping the filmmakers were just going to update the vehicle and robot modes like IDW Publishing is doing in the current comic incarnation of the Transformers. I will withhold judgement until I see it.
I don’t think you’re right Molen. From what I’ve heard the Transformers will turn into vehicles, however they will be Cybertron vehicles (more futuristic than what we have)initially, and then will adapt to our Earth vehicles.
I’ve been hearing rumors that Megatron will be a jet which puzzles me because what about Starscream?? I’d like to see Megatron turn into a tank like Armada.
This is NOT going to be Beast Wars, and this is NOT Bumblebee fully assembled.
I agree with Mulder, we can’t call it junk until we’ve seen the movie first hand.
I read somewhere that in an interview with Michael Bay, someone actually saw some artwork and footage of the film that shows the actor playing Spike with an older model, yellow vehicle that supposedly transforms; if the original history holds up, that should be Bumblebee.
