Toynewsi.com has received the first images of figures from the Warner Bros/DC direct-to-DVD release Superman VS. Doomsday.
The figures are based on the same style seen in Justice League, Superman, Batman, however have been slightly altered design wise to fit the film’s new direction.
The first wave of figures will feature: Superman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday, Solar Suit Superman, and Fortress of Solitude Robot. The figures will be available around the time of the film’s release in October.

Looks to me like they’re combining the design from Superman TAS and implementing some of the look from Superman Returns with the belt being slightly at an angle and the trunks being smaller.
Can’t wait to see some shots from the actual movie.
I love comic book DVD movies! With all of the hits Marvel has had in this genre it is a no brainer that DC would get on board. I prefer animation to a lot of the live action movies both companies have pumped out. They look and feel more like a comic and I believe they can do so much more with the story in this format.
