Ok. I suggested a new, misc. CCG forum, so I might as well post in it.
For anyone who hasn’t played this game, I thoroughly suggest giving it a try. I’m some oddball friend of yours has some decks lying around. It’s been out of print for quite some time, but a complete set of the original cards (the “One With Everything” boxed set) can be purchased fairly cheaply.
Through what other game can you discover that the Vatican controls the tobacco companies? Elvis is a puppet of the EPA? A Scandinavian purple dinosaur that hosts a children’s TV show (Bjorny!) is the true messiah?
At the ol’ Ka-Boom Comics in Plano, we’d have 5+ players in a big multi-player game. I never got a win, but came close once, where I could have won if I had simply mailed a $1 bill to Steve Jackson (Jesus B card, out of SubGenius, for anyone who’s played). Almost worth it.
Anyone else ever play the game? Have any fun stories to tell?
