I talked with one of the employees at the comic shop where I buy my comics. He informed me that Dark Horse is planning on cancelling “Star Wars Republic” and “Star Wars Empire” after their current story arcs are over and only continue on with K.O.T.O.R. as being their sole serial.
Anybody else heard anything or can confirm / deny what the guy said?

I was really bummed when they first announced it, but it looks like the new runs will be pretty solid. I just wish they would get the Clone Wars and Clone Wars Adventures tradepaperbacks back in print.

The guy at the store told me that KOTOR was going to be the only regular serial so that is more promising news that there will be others besides KOTOR.

I wasn’t impressed with the storyline that I jumped into. I am sure the earlier issues were better.
The last story arc in SW Republic was good. Republic had a few really great story arc though, check out Clone Wars Vol 4 if you want the really good SW story telling. But, overall I think Empire was better than Republic....but then again, I may be a little biased…
