Yet another theft from Madness - plea for help if possible

dcskater - 04 March 2006 04:27 PM
i assume its pretty much impossible, mainly because i had 4 different dealers say that he was trying to sell the cards i named, he had the cards, and we got to watch him walk out the door.

Wow, damn. But this is what blanket parties are for… :)

Seriously though, scorning the person’s name all over north dallas magic shops should be good revenge.

I hope it’s true that every snowflake is unique, because I never want to see one like this again.

Hope lost - no one had them last night…

The only person I can remember being there when they were taken that wasn’t there last night was Jon Kopplin and his friend.

Not accusing anyone, but if you see Jon, if you wouldn’t mind asking for me, that would be great.  I don’t think I’ll be coming to the store for a while…

Blake, sorry to hear you won’t be coming around.  It is sad when fellow magic players would steal from each other, but we’ve all see that before at all types of events (last I remembered was when Christian had his box of cards taken at the Ravnica pre-release) I hope you don’t let a few low lifes spoil the game for you, but I understand what it cost you not only in terms of money, but time and effort to build your collection.  Best of luck man.

Thanks for the sentiment, Rich - and it won’t spoil the game for me, I just won’t be returning to the scene of the crime...I’ll be playing locally elsewhere.  And you’ll still catch me at pre-releases/PTQ’s, etc. :)

I hate to say it Blake, but after stealing from Madness, you kinda deserve to get your cards stolen from you. That’s right, I heard your monolague that you thought was inner but was actually outer.

This should teach anyone who builds a battle of wits deck a lesson. People are jerks.

Hey, look for William Oats tomorrow at the ptq (one of the RRA guys, ask any of them which he is and they will point you to him) He’ll have something for you.

Hehe - (just to clarify, since the monologue from the other boards is gone, I didn’t steal anything from Madness)

(except for when I had my invisibility cloak on… mwah ha ha)

Dangit!!

Ok, I’ll look for him - thanks a bunch, Nashoba! :) Maybe we’ll have an all Dojo and RRA Top 8! :)

And how sad is it that I didn’t even get to PLAY with the deck at an FNM....

OK, not going to think about it anymore - just going to rebuild.  I still have a lot of cards, and I think maybe I’ll play my BWG monstrosity or UR Mags for now… :)

So, blake.... what did he give you??

Love,
Matt

I wish I knew how to quit you, Coyote.... ;)

I now have replaced a Mikokoro, a Battle of Wits (signed by the Coyote himself), a Debtor’s Knell, and a black-bordered Rewind.  :)

Thanks a bunch man!!  I really appreciate it!

Love and Peach my friend. Love and peace.

Love Peaches?  Of course, and oranges and banana’s too!
