This is both good and bad. DB had not been filling reorders, so going to Marvel will help. But Marvel isn’t exactly known for getting smaller projects out on time, so we’ll see.
I was already expecting the Anita Blake comics to be really good. We’ll have to see what this does to it.

no, not at all. Image basically takes creator owned projects and gets them published and distributed. This is going to be more along the lines of a Marvel imprint, a sort of sub-category. Technically, ‘Max’ and ‘Marvel Knights’ are imprints, but they are mainly being used as PG-13, or a bit higher, material. It will probably be more like the ‘Icons’ imprint they have for titles like Powers and Kabuki.
