Sweet!

Thanks,

Aaron

I too am excited about this

Any info available yet about cost?

I know these boosters will be expensive, and want to know if I should start letting my son down gently now or will I be able to afford both of us.

Thanks!

I’ll have to double check, but I belive we will be doing the regular $20 entry (receiving two packs)

I’ll confirm that and let you know.

WOW!

I hope your right.

I don’t see how that could be the price, unless your getting the cases for cheap-cheap-cheap. My understanding was that the boosters themselves would be MSRP $22.99.

If we can play in the tourny, and get two boosters for $20, that would be too awesome!

yup, you’re right, the boosters are $22.99 retail.  I thought it was a regular booster set at $14.99.  So, we will do two packs on entry for $30.

Indeed it is an awesome deal.

I may be able to bring the boy.

If your bringing your meat, I prefer BBQ sauce.

Nice, I think I will be able to make it. :) Sounds like fun. Now, I thought Madness was not doing events anymore. I think this one might be an exception?

We cut the Magic events due primarily to space constraints, but the smaller events, like most of the minis events, will not be affected.  I will have to cap entry at some point, but I don’t think that will be an issue.

Does anyone know which map(s) are legal for this event?

It’s 150 pt. construction, so i assume that it’s the 150pt. legal maps, but we all know what happens when you assume :)

Thanks,

Aaron

just a reminder, the event is constructed, $30 entry, 2 packs on entry

Do we need to worry about bringing maps, or will they be provided?

Well, I was trying to get an official answer from WotC about the map. I guess we should bring our own and decide there in case there is no official rule on this? It needs to be big wnough for the bif pieces, so all those maps with narrow areas cant be played, unless we go with the Ignore Rigid rule for sealed. But I guess it can be up to the store. :)
