Thanks Chris - I appreciate the words.  Perhaps I was just in a mood.  My apologies.  It does get a little frustrating communicating via the internet sometimes.

Yeah, i hate message boards for that very reason; you can’t tell when someone’s being sarcastic, angry, etc.

I promise i wasn’t trying to attack you blake. i was more or less just stating the obvious (concerning bookoos of places holding events) to up my post count I can’t stand the “fan boy” status

I will try to make it up to Madness on a sunday… Dreamblade sounds/looks like an interesting game.

I just have to see how my work schedule pans out.

How long does it typically take to play the “tournament” or whatever you do?

We each played one game against each other last Sunday.  Doing best 2 out of 3 would take a while.  I’d say our games averaged about 30 minutes each.

Not sure if that’s how we’ll always play though.  Would love to have you join us sometime - it’s fun playing against new faces!

Yeah, a Dreamblade round typically consists of only one game.  There’s a lot involved.  But no sideboarding!!

what kinds of warbands are you guys running, like tier 1 constructed stuff or bands built from a couple starters and boosters?

I might try and make it this sunday cause madness is closer than CBC and I probably won’t have to play Blake (seriously, the kid’s good)

One other thing - I did pass the exam to become a Rules Advisor, so if anyone has any rules questions they need answered, I’d love to help out any way I can.

I was there this last sunday at noon to run a demo. Only one person showed up for the event. Bummer. Even though, we played 1 game of Dreamblade and 1 game of SW minis. I won dreamblade and I lost on a close game of SW Minis. Stupid Solo Twins killed my Sith Lords. Hehe, then Aurra sing couldnt battle by herself, vs. 3450 New republic troopers. Anyway, we had a good time. I tried to get a couple of guys that play Clix interested, but it didnt pan out real good. Anyway, I also hope ppl starts showing up at Madness for their events. Talk to you soon.

This event should happen every sunday at noon according to Madness Games. I can not remember the actual cost and price support for the event. I assume because they are EDGE events, they will give out the alternate paint minis. Other than that, I think Chris can tell us for sure the event’s structure.
