How many did you guys have? I didn’t realize you were having Edge events at this time, or I would have tried to be there - another store is having them at (almost) the exact same time, just FYI. I couldn’t have made it by 12 this week anyway, but good to see you’re having some events and turnout!

Yes.
Logically, it would be impossible to plan events around every other competitor’s schedule. Right now DB is in its infancy and several stores are hosting tournaments.
However, from what i saw last weekend, i believe Madness will be one of those stores that stands out in terms of service, rules knowledge, etc.

I will ask how the prize support is also, just because I’m curious.
And I never asked anyone to change their schedule. Just making Chris aware that someone was running the same event at the same time at another store, just in case he didn’t know.
I think I’ll stop posting here, because everything I do post seems to get taken personally or misinterpreted by someone. I’m really not that bad of a guy, and I do really like the Madness store and it’s events, regardless of what everyone may think.

There were 3 in attendance this past Sunday - most likely down because of the holiday. Looks like the 3 of us are sticking with Madness @ Noon on Sundays. Mainly because Madness RULES! That, and Rob is the most helpful drunk tournament organizer I’ve ever seen!!

I didn’t take anything you said that way. What the others post is by their accord. For me, I hope that you do continue utilizing these boards. And I do appreciate the heads up about others events. I’m of the opinion these days that there are a great many misconceptions and misunderstandings of several people on these boards. I’ve always preached that you should play where you enjoy playing. Hopefully playing here fits on your schedule sometime.
