I refuse to draft coldsnap. Well, for any more than Free.
It’s really easy for MaRo to say that they added commons to the set to *make it draft better,* but it’s not any better than it looks on paper… I mean, when you lose to multiple-rippled Surging Flames in every damn draft, well, it’s not that fun. Even when you win with 8 Surging Sentinals and 5 Surging Mights in your deck(I did that once :/), it’s still no fun at all…

So is False Cure a (admittedly bad) combo with Wall of Shards (in Extended)? Funny that paying the upkeep cost for your 1/8 wall would be opponent loses 2 life, then 4 life, then 6 life. Good times.

The release event will be on Sunday the 23rd. $20, same routine as usual.
We *WILL* be holding Ice Age/Alliances/Coldsnap booster drafts and sealed decks events. They will begin the first of August. I’ll post more details later, but the drafts will be $20 per and the Sealed will be $35-40 with a huge prize pool.

Wow im pretty excited for the IAC limited events. Im actually really looking forward to CS in constructed, in a dedicated deck, Scrying Sheets reads: “2,T: draw a card.”

Are these release events always on Sunday now? :(
If so, at least my wife will be happy that I won’t be playing cards this weekend afterall (unless you count FNM).
