Who all is planning on going? My dad and I are almost definates.

My prediction is that you won’t see a lot of the regular posters on the boards, as not many of them that I know have 1.5 decks.  Not that people won’t show up - this is a pretty popular format around Dallas as a whole, but I’m just betting you won’t get a ton of responses from the boards themselves. 

Just my 2 cents…

I decided to not play slide, Instead playing John Su’s Mono Red Burn deck(with a few modifications). Won my first 5 matches, then played against Medina’s Rifter deck. Won the first game, then got him to 8 in game 2(then with 2x Fireblast in hand and 3 mountains in play, I proceed to draw 2 lavamancers and a seal of fire, and lose horribly), and then got him down to 7 in game 3(2x Fireblast in hand and 3 mountains in play yet again, and I still couldn’t draw a 3-damage spell OR a mountain ). Was lots of fun though, even though 1 point of damage was worth $100+.
