Why do you love Marvel Legends?

For me it goes back to my childhood. Going to the grocery store, picking up my favorite comics, and falling into the stories with my favorite characters. Each time I open a new Marvel Legend, those childhood memories come flooding back. Except now with those memories is a 3-D representation of those characters. The articulation, the detail, the realism are amazing. And for me, this makes it the best line ever created. So much so, that this line inspired me to become an action figure customizer. Now don’t get me wrong, I collect a lot of lines and love them all, but nothing offers what Marvel Legends does.

Now I want to know what the Legends do for you.

Marvel Legends are like plastic crack!  I am so addicted that I can’t seem to pass a Wal-Mart, TRU or Target with out stopping.  Just like the addict who can’t pass up that corner in the bad part of town ;-) I love ML for all the same reasons that Rom does and because you can’t beat the combo of articulation and sculpting.  When I was in my appartment I had some great battle scenes laid out with all my favorite characters.  They really do make you feel like a kid again.  Keep em coming ToyBiz!

Why do I love them?  I love them cause they are super poseable comic accurate Marvel figures.  Why spend lots of money on a statue (Which i also do) when I could pay 10-20 times less and reposte the MLs as much as I want.

That is why I love Marvel Legends.

I had the greatest ML buy every today!  I found Scarlet Witch, Variant Bishop, Variant Sasquatch, Variant Iron Fist, Variant Wolverine, The good looking X23 and two Super Skrulls!  Yeah baby!!!

OMG Curvezilla.

I’m jealous. I want a blad Bishop. :(

Hey guys take a look at what I found just two hours from Dallas.  It’s the first and only action figure museum in Pauls Valley, OK.  Check it out.

Damn nice Haul man.....uh, a week ago.

I couldn’t believe my luck either.  I just kept pulling variant after variant off the shelf.  It was awesome.  It’s got to be my best find ever.

Dang Chris, that’s an awesome bounty you captured, buddy. I had a pretty good figure hunt myself the other day. No ML 12 variants, but I already have ‘em, hehe. But I did score all the FFC w/ 4 Super Skrulls(2 solid, 1 fire, 1 clear), all the new X3 figures ( I love these), and the ML 12 figures I was missing. So, now I’m caught up again, until the next series comes out that is. I’m finishing up my newest customs tomorrow, Hellstorm and Moon Dragon. I’ll post ‘em on my gallery tomorrow so y’all can check ‘em out and let me know what ya think.

Yeah, I’m thinking Hasbro will try to emulate Toy Biz’s success with the line- I’m just worried that they’re going to want to put their own mark on the line for fear of seeming like imitators. Then again, I’ve also heard rumors that Jesse Falcon and Damon Nee will still be involved with the line....hmmm!

As long as they don’t turn into Sigma 6 figures, I’ll be happy. Or Star Wars for that matter.

Hello Mr. moderator. How do i get my Black Bolt image to show up under my name like the yours. It shows up inside my message. That’s not my intention. Please help. thx

Hey Silent One, if you go to the upper right of the page and click “Your Control Panel”, then on the left, click “Edit Avatar” then just upload that Black Bolt pic and you’re done!

Jmiha.....sweeeeeet! Thanks man. I love that pix of urs too.

I can think of many reasons why i love the Marvel Legends, but i have to express what i hate about them the most. It’s obvious we all love the Legends for their articulation as well as the variety of Legends ToyBiz offers....ummmm no Black Bolt. Anyways, getting back to the sub title: why i hate Marvel Legends. Why is it that every ML package that i open is like breaking someone out of jail. Or better yet, why do i get the sence that if i’m not careful i may cut my finger off. I don’t know about you, but i need my 4” knife to just start the process. And what’s up with those dang wires around each leg and arm. Turn, turn, twist, twist and the figure is finally free. Why can’t they keep things simple like DC Direct. What are we to think? Better articulation comes with highly protective packaging, while less articulation comes with easier packages to open. Go figure.
