If you are at all interested...please contact me via email. Thanks.
Looking for a dedicated and professional artist….
Kevin Delger has an art degree and would perhaps be interested in doing something along these lines. You might consider hunting him down in case he doesn’t see this thread.
working a high stress job without pay isnt my idea of a good time.

Yeah, I agree with Matt there. No offense, Brian, but you’re asking a lot, especially when the payoff is probably going to be a lot of hard work for nothing. I’m speaking from experience here. When I first got into comic book coloring in the late 90’s, I worked on 3 different projects for little to no pay in the hopes of getting published upon proposal. None of them amounted to anything. I’d suggest if you are really serious about your project, save up some money to be able to pay your artists. But even then, be careful, as this kind of work is worth a lot more than 25 or 50 bucks per page. So you’d need to save up some serious money or do everything yourself. Unfortunately, that’s what it takes to get into the biz. If you are serious about this, I suggest applying for a Xeric grant. http://www.xericfoundation.com/ These folks offer grants for self publishers to help them break in.
Good luck.
Thank you Jomiha
Reality checks are always good.
I hope you find your person Brian but it seems that the Xeric grant is probably your best bet.
Well...I appreciate everyones kind words...but whatever happened to the people that wanted to do these kinds of things just to do them?
Lol. You probably got the jaded response. Maybe you can find the non-jaded individuals to help you out.
Time is money- comic book art in every facet is time consuming, so therein lies the conflict for most people, I think. I still do color work here and there for the love of it, but in the long run, I have bills to pay, and a wife who deserves my time more than a stranger asking me to work for free.
