I dont know about everyone else, but when a new set comes out, just love reading flavor text. I have a few favorites, and im sure some of ya’ll do too (Vorthos, err, Hoffmann, I’m lookin at you too). Here are some of mine:

I’ll have to read up on the other ones....there was one I thought was brilliant, but I can’t remember what it was, just now....

My Favorite flavor text is on the 3/3 frog-maker… Omnibian. It reads:

“This creature has hyperevolved chameleonic abilities. It no longer mimics its surroundings, instead forcing them to take on its form.”

I mostly like the Rakdos flavor text.  They help lighten the darkest of the guilds a bit by having them be almost comcically evil.  I especially like the FT on Slaughterhouse Bouncer.  My favorite in the set is probably Protean Hulk, though.  Not only is it cool that they got in Borborygmos’ “We eat” quote, but it’s also a pun.  Protean means changing or transmutable, whereas the FT says “meat and eggs,” making a pun on the similar-sounding “protein.” Good times.
