Hope everyone enjoyed the release weekend! It was one heck of a turn out, like 22 pairs in the first round alone! Some crazy decks appeared out there (especially the “broken” tournament packs - I ran into double faiths fetters TWICE - that’s just wrong!) Then the combo’s of the Drowsing Shaman and the Seal of Doom was pretty broken. Still it was a good time and many thanks to Chris for the extra bonus to those who played both days (and is anyone else getting some bizzaro mixes in their booster boxes? I had a booster box that had two dual lands - and they were both Breeding Pool! There were also four pairs of “junk” rares in the box, very strange. Then our “bonus packs has two of the black red dual lands, go figure!)
And don’t forget - this Thursday Ravnica - Guildpack - Dissension drafts! (won’t that be a kick in the head!)
Now we just need to talk Chris into some Two Headed Giant action and getting Arena League going again!
