To know what’s going on, simply read the article on the front page. Here is what I think about the situation:
To me this seems pretty open and shut. The Siegels own the rights to Superboy, not young Clark Kent. So far there hasn?t been a mention of Clark Kent becoming ?Superboy?, hell, the Superman symbol hasn?t even been used diegetically. As long as Kent doesn?t become Superboy I think it should be fine. On a related note, everything involving the name Superboy should get licencing by the Siegels, even if its Kon-el who is not a young Clark Kent, which is presumably the Superboy the Siegels have the rights to. After all, Siegel did come up with the name.
A cool frood who really knows where his towel is.
