Let’s get to know each other a little better.

I’ve seen this done on other forums and really liked the idea.

So, I’ll go first.

Real Name: Mike “Rom” Rombado
Ocupation: Action Figure Customizer

I’m 36 years young, with and wonderful wife, Amanda and 3 beautiful children, Kaitlyn 10, Kristin 7 1/2, and our newest addition Olivia 6 months. I have a Lab/Rot mix named Logan, who is my best friend in the whole world. Our 2 cats are named Rogue and Phoenix. I live in Coldspring, Tx. a little town with a population of only 800. I’m a Texas boy through and through, and I’m so proud to live in the Lone Star State.

Since 1999, I have had 5 major back surgeries due to a tragic accident at work, a 500lb shelf fell on my back, which has now left me permanently disabled.

I’ve been collecting Comics and Figures for as long as I can remember, and will always be a fanboy at heart. Collecting is such a passion for me, that it inspired me to begin Customizing in 2004. Now, I’ve always tweaked my figures through out the years, but it was never a serious thing, until 2 years ago. Well, in that time I have made over 200 pieces and have my figures displayed in homes around the world. I constantly strive to give my customers the very best product I can produce. I sale both ebay and commission orders, and make each figure with a passion I never knew I had before. This year (3) of my customs were nominated for Custom of the Year, and I am so honored that my work has gain such recognition. Recently, through my travels online I found a kindred spirit in JoMiHa, and together we decided to try to expand our businesses and to take Customizing to a whole new level by combining our talents with Rock Solid Customs.

Well, that’s the skinny on me, so now I’d love to learn a little about y’all.

Real name: Joel Harris
Born: 11/2/74
Born in: Greensburg, PA
Grew up in: Latrobe, PA
Currently reside in: Springfield, IL

Grew up in southwestern PA, so I’m a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan (yeah, this was a good year for us!) Loved comics since I was a wee lad of 5 or so, got out of reading comics in high school. I stopped reading for about 5 years, from 1992- 97. When I came back to comics, I was thrilled to see the advancements in coloring, and a push for good creative teams...well, mostly...on flagship titles. I grew up a Marvel Zombie, which is still where my heart is, though I read plenty of DC comics too.

After graduating high school in ‘93, I went to the Art Institute Pittsburgh where I took Commercial Art courses. I will just mention now that I hate manual typography! Thank you.

Anyway, I was a graphic artist for a few years after AIP, but I moved here to IL to be with my wife (then-girlfriend) and have done a bit of this and that since I came here. Mostly in the medical field, for some odd reason. After moving here, I became really interested in Marvel Legends, which soon turned into full fledged obsession, which led me to Fwoosh, where I met Rombado, aka Mike, my long lost brother from a different mother. RSC has rekindled my passion to customize the best figures possible. Thanks Mike!

So, my wife and I were married July 9th 2005. We just “celebrated” our 9 month anniversary yesterday...we have a Pug named Pumba and two cats, Sophie and Chloe. Looking to start a family very soon.

And that’s my story!

I loves me some me!  Wait, that’s not what I meant to say.  I loves me some comic’s and action figures!  There, much better.  I am from Lufkin, TX, but now live in Dallas.  I went to the University of Arkansas where I met my wife Erin and Co-Founder of Komikazee, Sixstring.  My wife and I just had our first baby boy and his name is Connor.  I have been collecting comics since the age of 10 and All-Star Squadron was what got it all started.  Someone gave me a box of beat up old comics and I have been buying them like crazy ever since.  I have a ton of action figures and really love the hunt and a great find even better.

First of all I always tell the truth.
Next I dare you to prove that’s not me in the pic.
Third this post has not been posted on in months so I feel confident of getting away with it.

I MAY NOT KNOW A THING ABOUT WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.  BUT BY GOD I HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT IT!!! :banghead:

You look all dressed up with no face to go but you do look familiar. There was this cave in New Mexico that I visited one time. Hmmm ... I wonder.
