Hey fellas, I don’t know how feasible it is to implement, but a “Go to new post” (since last visit) function would be great. If it’s too much of a problem to incorporate, no biggie. Just throwing it out there.
I could tell you that for you, our favorite customizer, I coded it up real quick, but the truth is that I think there is already a link to what you’re asking for at the top of the forums index.
Make sure you’re logged in and just click on Forums in the header bar. Just below the breadcrumbs you’ll see ‘ View New Posts’ and ‘Mark All Posts as Read ‘.

Hey Sixstring, first, thanks for the high compliment! Secondly, I wasn’t really clear in what I was talking about- my bad. I actually meant an option for each thread, like this:
The little square with the arrow preceeding is the button for this function on a lot of boards (keep in mind, I know very little of what I’m talking about, so forgive me if I’m telling you something you already know, which I presume is the case!).
Either way, the function you mentioned would work just as well for me, so it’s no biggie either way! Thanks for the response!
I’ve got to agree - it would be nice to go into a topic, and be able to go right to the “new posts” instead of having to try to jump to them then scroll down till you find the new ones. The show new posts shows everything, including a bunch of topics I have no interest in.
