No pressure, take your time in deciding what will be done, but with the 1st weekend FNM now being “sealed” will the FNM sealed for the 1st weekend in May be “Dissension”?  (and will we still get the “entry booster” ) Will there also be a release event Saturday for Dissension?  Anything else special that will be happening?  (Don’t you love all these “straight” questions?)

OK, couple differant things…

May 5th-6th-7th will be the official Grand Opening of the newly enlarged store.  We are negotiating now with various guests to be here the whole weekend.  Once the details are finalized I’ll post the details.

May 5th FNM
Price - $20
Each player gets one Ravnica Tournament pack, One Guildpact booster and TWO Dissension boosters to build their deck.
There will be NO pack on entry, but you’re getting the extra pack of Dissension to use in the event, so it’s basically the same anyway.

May 6th is FCBD (Free Comic Book Day)
We’ll be having several differant gaming events going on that day, but probably not any Magic.  Most likely demos in support of the other games like Heroclix, Neopets, Pokemon, Battlestar, Star Wars minis and board games.

May 7th Dissension Release Event
Price $20
Time 12:00noon
Same setup as the FNM, but adding the foil promos.

As of right now, this is how each release weekend will look, Sealed FNM and Release Event on Sunday.  That’s why I wanted to move the sealed events to the first Friday of every month.

Sounds great to me.  I look forward to the 5th then.  Especially getting to play with all three parts of the block in sealed (and having three boosters instead of two to build with!).  Think there will be a chance to do drafts with the new release before the following Thursday?
