Welcome Back To 1992
Congratulations old gamers! By old I mean mid twenty year olds. One of the best games of our generation is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. No, not Pole Position, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting! Remember when you were a kid at the arcade laying your quarter down on the screen just to get to play against that one guy who beats everybody down. Well, now you can play against that same guy without being publicly humiliated when you lose within 2 seconds.
In Street Fighter II you can play single player or VS., and it will even have a training mode just incase you have to learn the ropes if youâ??re a newbie to the game. It will have the basic leader board that other Xbox Live games have to track how great or horrible you are compared to everyone else. And what Xbox 360 game would be complete without complete online capabilities. Of course you can always sign on and battle a friend with your favorite childhood character, but you can also take your game online for a ranked match or play a new online mode called Online Quarter Mode. This mode is the real challenging part for players, you line up with your virtual quarters to try to beat the guy who won the previous match. If you lose, you go to the back of the line. That mode may have you feeling like youâ??re actually in the arcade.
