IMDB has posted a new picture of actor Vinne Jones in full Juggernaut gear (sans helmet) on the set of Brett Ratner’s “X-Men: The Last Stand”. Click on the link to view the full picture.
“X3” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 26th 2006.
I’m sorry but does anyone else think this costume is completely ridiculous? I mean here you’ve got what could not only be the last of the X-Men films, but one of the most popular X-Men baddies of all time and you come up with THIS?? Sure I know Juggs’ current comic costume probably wouldn’t translate over to film EXACTLY, but I’m fairly certain the producers could’ve put a little bit more thought into how to make Juggs look not so....lame.
In my opinion Jones looks more like “Ram Man” from the He-Man series than he does Juggernaut. I’m sorry but Juggernaut has always been a MASSIVE character that any member of the X-Men (even Colossus) had to literally look up to. Gone is the hulking stature, and menacing appearance, and in it’s place we’ve got a guy with some muscle prostetics in a fetish costume.
